Based in Atlanta, Georgia, designer Ashley Buchanan’s work draws inspiration from historical ornamentation and jewelry. Buchanan’s designs test the boundaries between wearable art and maintaining a contemporary aesthetic. Her powder-coated metal jewelry is a manifestation of patterns and images presented through clean, uniform designs.

“By combining iconic silhouettes and common jewelry motifs with hand-cut sheet metal and powder-coated finishes, I am able to reference the history of jewelry with a clean aesthetic."
