Two color wheels, each featuring eight different hues, provided color to the colorless glass vase in the reception hall at Laurelton Hall, Louis Comfort Tiffany's Long Island estate. These handcrafted wheels overlapped and turned like gears channeling light from underneath the vase, creating the appearance of an ever-changing vase of glowing color.
