The delicate washes of water color on this small palette attest to it's usage by a miniature portrait painter. Before the advent of photography, such miniatures would have been one of the few ways that a person's likeness was able to be captured. Finish: solid brass, electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver, giclee print, ear wires are hypo-allergenic.
