Shannon V Jewelry Earrings: Rust and Dashes
These lightweight post earrings are handmade from Polymer Clay by Shannon who is a local artist in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Approx. 2 1/2 inches in length
Taking care of your earrings: Polymer clay is a type of plastic, and is quite durable, but just like with anything, especially rough wear and tear can cause it to deteriorate. Please don't wear your clay products in the shower, to the pool/beach, or while sleeping. If you need to clean your earrings I suggest a clean, dry cloth. For more seriously dirty earrings you can use warm water and mild soap on a cloth, dry immediately afterwards. I am not responsible for any damage or breakage once the product is in your possession. To care of the brass components of your earrings, I suggest using a very small dab of tooth paste on a soft tee shirt, or paper towel. Rub it on, then wipe it off. Brass tarnishes over time when exposed to air (and skin oils, etc.) but is easily restored to it's original gold tone. Also, feel free to Google ways to polish brass if you'd like alternatives to the toothpaste method listed above.
